This is bitter sweet. You can't help but mourn for what could have (& should've) been if they hasn't lost all of that time together.

I still don't feel like Sam really realizes how much he messed up BEFORE Percy ever did. I feel like he's almost equally to blame for things going bad because of how he treated her when he first left & even before that.

Sam saying they need a break from "constant communication" when they're barring talking as it is? Is he serious. And that he's so behind & needs to focus on school & the very next day he's drunk & partying with another girl! I know what Percy did was bad, but I get it & I don't feel like Sam really understood that how much he was hurting her.

I don't understand why Sam made that cruel comment when he already knew the truth & had apparently decided he wanted to be with her anyway.

I can't believe she sleeps with him before she tells him!

This is going to be bad. I really thought Sam already knew!

Ok, now I'm confused. Percy was thinking about how there was a huge secret between her & Sam. I assumed he knew why they broke up, so what secret is she talking about?

Sam is really being a jerk! The least he could do is respect Percy's choice like he said he would & not try to cause problems between her & her boyfriend, since it's HIS fault that they're not together. It was HIS choice to just be friends. What's he going to do next? Try to make her jealous by flirting with Delilah or some other girl?

Why would she invite her boyfriend to visit her knowing that the guy she really wants to be with is going to be there? They'll both be acting jealous + Delilah likes to cause trouble. It's a recipe for disaster.

I'm actually glad I read the second book first, otherwise I'd be wondering why they broke up the whole time
