I never expected Gwen & Arthur to become friends. I love how he talked to her brother for her & made her feel like she was normal. Their friendship is very cute.

Bella choosing to go to Phoenix was a stupid plan. I know she thought it was clever, but why take the risk that he might figure out she was trying to trick him? Better to pick a place he couldn't guess at.

I wonder why Edward didn't just attack James right away while he had his entire family right next to him to back him up, knowing that he wouldn't stop hunting Bella until she was dead. Victoria would've likely run and Laurent too. Esme & Alice could protect Bella while Edward, Jasper & Emmett took care of James. Simple.

I wonder why Edward hasn't mentioned that he can't hear Charlie's exact thoughts either. I can't remember if he ever tells her.

I wish he would've shared at least a couple stories about her. She's always fascinated me the most.

I'm really loving Cora & how strong she is. It's kinda making me wish she was the main character in the series. I would definitely read more books from her pov. I want to explore the dynamic between her & Rye as a couple. It's just the beginning for them but I would love to see their relationship evolve. Plus, Cora doesn't irritate me the way Mirella often does.

I think Mirella's mom is lying to her about who her dad is, though she hasn't actually told her ANYTHING about him in the first place. But she was banished from Level when she got pregnant with Mirella because the father was supposedly not a tziganes, but if that were true, then how is Mirella SO powerful, let alone the heart maiden? I think her dad might have been a tzigane from Belleville's enclave. Dolan, maybe?

She finds out her mom has continued lying to her & has been suppressing her power her ENTIRE life & she doesn't confront her or get angry with her? Even though her lies got other people killed & put in danger? She swore she wouldn't forgive her if she found out she was lying about that. It makes NO sense! How she can stand being around her mom when she's always lying or refusing to tell her things about her OWN life?

What's up with her mom & Theron's dad, Dolan, arguing? She's definitely keeping a secret that involves him. Could he be her dad? I know her dad is supposedly human, but her mom is constantly lying to her & has never told her ANYTHING about her father.
