I wish he would open up to her about his worries about his mom

I hate his mom for making him feel so unwanted & alone 💔

The part where Jackson's sisters see Delilah coming out of his bathroom in a towel (because they're sharing a room at the lodge for work) & Aiden, Lucy & the twins are interrogating him about it, was priceless! It literally had me laughing out loud!

Jackson has turned out to be a very layered, interesting character. There's so much more to him than we got to see in the first book. I think he & Delilah will be perfect for each other. His backstory is kind of heart breaking & really explains why he is the way he is. I think she'll help him discover his fun, less serious side.

I wish Jackson would tell his mother what he's really thinking, because she deserves to hear how awful she is.

I can't believe she abandoned her without a goodbye again!

I knew something awful happened to Fiona. Nicole is right. She's a survivor.

I hate that Fiona is likely going to push Nicole away. I definitely think there's more to her story than we know... A reason she closes herself off from other people & the world. I just hope she makes an exception for Nicole.

This is SO good. Definitely an underrated book. I'd never head of it before. I discovered it when I was looking at a more recent book of Lacey's.

The first one was better. The chemistry between Athena & Aphrodite just isn't on the same level.

There is way too much info dumping for such a short story

So far, this hasn't really pulled me in but I hate to dnf such a short book

I wonder why Holly took so long to give her the ring & to expose the reverend

She just had to have a girl. I swear, if Holly doesn't get a happy ending, I will scream.

I almost didn't read this because I was worried it would make me too angry or depressed, but my mom convinced me it was really good & funny. I just REALLY hope at least one girl gets a happy ending.

Poor Holly. I hope she has a boy. Or maybe Zinnia's plan will work.

They should've told Hagar about Holly. I think she would have at least believed her & maybe even tried to help. And they definitely need to tell her everything that happened with Miss Parcae, because she's probably the only person who can help them with her.

She should've been more specific with what she was asking for...

It's so messed up that her step mom is so wealthy & at least part of her money comes from Delilah's father & yet she doesn't help her out financially at all, even though she knows she has to work two jobs just to afford rent. Then again, she is a bitchy Ice Queen, but even Delilah thinks she loved her dad, so you'd think she would help her out simply because it's what he would've wanted her to do.

Iris & Claire blame Delilah for ignoring Astrid, as if it was all one sided, but there are never any flashback scenes showing Astrid trying to include Delilah. She ignored her just as much! Plus, they all made fun of Delilah. At least Delilah never did that to Astrid.

I wish this was a full length novel. I want more.

I LOVE hearing Riley tell Julia what a terrible mother she's been & how protective she is of her family!
