I wish someone would explain WHY the heart maiden isn't allowed to be romantic with anyone, EVER! Especially after the last heart maiden killed herself because her enclave killed the guy she fell in love with for being with her and it took 200 years for a new heart maiden, Mirella, to show up. Considering they CAN'T survive without her, you'd think they might change the rules or at LEAST have a good reason for them!

How many times does she need to be nearly kidnapped/killed before she stops sneaking away from her protectors?

There are definitely some questions that were left unanswered, like about Jackson's parents & what really happened to them. It's a bit of a disappointing end to a pretty good trilogy.

Why didn't Jackson tell them EVERYTHING he saw in his vision so they're prepared?

Why does it take them SO long to put together the fairly obvious clues?

That was one twist I DIDN'T see coming! Poor Jackson! But I want to know HOW he did it & how he was able to trick Daphne.

I can't believe how stupid they're being! Sophia told them the killer could be using mirrors as portals to watch/influence them & after what happened with her own mirror, you'd think she'd have enough sense to at least COVER the mirror up!

So far, Lucian & Millie are still my favorite couple, mostly because they both can remember their past lives together, so it doesn't feel like insta love like it did with Cash & Brielle. Jackson & Daphne have already been through a lot & he really hurt her in the past.

How many more clues do they need before one of them figures out something is very wrong with Dahlia?!!! And why haven't they checked on their mom recently?

I can't believe no has considered the possibility that the ghost is possessing someone!

How long is it going to take everyone to put the pieces together?!!! And why isn't Lucian more wary of Dahlia? The way she was raised & the timing of her coming to him, claiming she didn't want to practice dark magic anymore. There are all of these clues everyone is overlooking!

I always assumed that their mom was a witch, I just can't believe it never occurred to them. And why didn't Sophia tell them?

The comment Dahlia made about blood and eyes, it was SO obvious that it wasn't her talking, but of course, Millie doesn't figure it out. And the amount of things the sisters don't bother telling anyone about is so frustrating!

This doesn't seem to have much of a plot so far.

Cash is sweet:

"You're my home, Brielle. You have been since the moment I laid eyes on you. Marry me."

I'm annoyed that Cash isn't trusting his instincts & Brielle is always leaving important details out. How can any of them honestly believe it's over?

Why the hell hasn't Brielle told her sisters that they're targets too? Besides, I thought Daphne could see what she saw when she was dream walking! She said she needed to so she would know if she needed help. Plot hole I guess.

I'm amazed at how the author manages to convey so much disturbing (& detailed) information regarding torture, in 1 or 2 sentences. This is an extremely SICK/DERANGED person & I REALLY hate his pov's, being in his head. It's disturbing.

It doesn't reassure me that the FBI Profiler who's protecting Brielle, worked with the serial killer he was looking for on his last case for six weeks & never suspected him! I already guessed the killer knows Brielle somehow but I have no idea who he is because she's not close with any men besides Cash.

Brielle didn't even bother to ask Sarah to describe the killer when she was talking to her in her dreams & she hasn't told anyone about the electric chair he has. The police might be able to find him by tracking down where he bought it or look into power surges in town or something! She's really not good this, but her boyfriend is an FBI profiler. Surely he could give her some tips.
