Learned today that the key to long-term willpower/discipline is to pre-conceived paths that force one to stay on track. It’s knowing that if you don’t do this one thing things will change for the worse. Also having small habits that you build that you no longer have to think about will spread for good in the other areas of your life🙌🏼

Will power is a muscle you can strengthen. There was a study that Baumeister did that proved that emotional control does not strengthen your willpower. The key to strengthening your willpower is to change habitual behaviors like slouching or using your non-dominant hand. It exercises self-control and rewires your brain to improve in that area which trickles to other areas of life.

Today I learned that whether you do or don’t want to make the decision it doesn’t matter after a certain point. One will always get decision fatigue and automate to the easiest/comfortable option

Learned today about how lower glucose levels impact your ability to have a clear mind because your brain starts doing other things. This is when you get more satisfaction of taking the ‘easier route’ as your body just yearns for more glucose. To get yourself back up to a full filling high level eat balanced nutrients or sleep.
I didn’t know they were connected like that!
