Oh for crying out loud. I just discovered that there’s a version of this thing that isn’t written in what I call Yodaspeak. The sentence structure is far more complex than that. But if I can read it in plain English? Bring it on.

The thing about Paradise Lost is that it's so near indecipherable that it doesn't matter where I stopped reading it or what was going on in the narrative. Regardless I don't know what is going on 🤷🏾♀️

This book is a lot. I like the footnotes as much as the poem. If I didn’t know the Bible, I couldn’t handle this one. I’m astounded at what Milton did in this work.
