My book is still holding my attention really well. Jackie is learning to get used to the Walter family dynamic: "I didn't feel like such an outsider before" (Novak 165). She is also more and more torn over which brother she is interested in; Cole or Alex. I am excited to see which one she chooses and how she will continue to adjust to her life, but I think she might go for Alex since he is the safer option for her.

So far I am really loving my book. Jackie just moved to Colorado from New York and is starting to notice the Walter appeal. Jackie and Cole are starting to grow their friendship that I think will later turn into something more: "And then it was almost as if Cole understood what I was thinking" (Novak 111). Jackie is also starting to make friends at her new school, which I think will continue to go well for her.
