the way neema has been treated is so ridiculously unfair, like why has everyone been acting as if she personally ordered the exile??? i just don't understand all this animosity towards her. also, i want to like cain more but as a love interest, he needs to step it the fuck up.

I recently read this book and agree that it’s weird everyone seems to hold Neema personally responsible for the exile when she was commanded to write the exile order. I guess the author needs to make Neema feel personally invested in Yana but that was a bit forced tbh

Hard agree on rooting for Neema & Caine’s romance. Though, I found the rest of the book so flipping cool that I still rated it 5 stars even with a not my fav ML.
