It would seem I have read 10 pages since the last time I made an update on this book. Anyway, it was on page 83 that I realised that I have misgendered the narrator in the story. I thought they were female, thus the sister to the mentally disturbed brother, and when they had a spouse who was female I thought they were a sapphic couple and so I went on believing that I was reading that kind of storyline this that page

It was always going to come to this. As much as suicide is frowned upon, if we accept that no one asked to be here but some grew to appreciate being here after discovering they were here, it can also be true that others grew to detest this and felt trapped. The condemnation of suicide is because others want to hold those who don't want to be here hostage with emotional blackmail & it is selfish in my opinion

It is only in this chapter that I discover that the narrator, the sister of the schizophrenic guy, is a writer. In this chapter she talks about how the readers are always writing letters to her and this one was clearly from someone who was mad about some religious or spiritual thing related to the book, that of atheism which the brother said her books are always asserting the nonexistence of God, making believers mad

"...mon frere pue." I laughed so hard at this coz even though it is not telling about a condition that invites humour, the way it was said just sent me.

A chapter seems to represent one event in this book. This one was about a bird that got hurt at the brother's actions towards it, very touching.
