being pressured from my coworker to put the book down :(

it's actualyl pissing me off that kip is talking to some random guy rather than his best friend elena.......like i can't tell (cuz this is the first book im reading by her) if this is a reid problem with women or is reid trying to tell me something about kip by having this conversation with someone else..,...lots of things to consider

all in all, im just not a Kip fan......he's annoying me.

and i know kip prolly has only ever grown up acepted and that's why he is still being an optimist sometimes about how things will really go if scott comes out, and isn't/hasn't internalized the fact that scott has been in the hyperhomophobic sports world for his whole life, and was literally raised by isn't going to come out just bc he's in a relationship after 2 months even though he knows he's in love with you.

Scott isn't stopping you from still going out, and truly you could decline staying over his apartment all the time, but will you, no, because you don't actually want to do that. you just want to also be in an out relationship. and truly you should've thought more about that when you first started dating scott.

especially because he and i both recognize there's nothing that scott can do about except break up with him, because the sports world is not sunshine and Scott will not being able to things that he loves doing. and honestly kip as selfish as you can recognize you're being; you're still doing it

like man up and leave if it's that fucking serious, or talk to elena about it, but keeping to yourself is so rude cuz he's building resentment for scott who hasn't done anything really wrong except be in a profession where being out and gay means you can't do the ting you love -- HE LOVES -- and i know I KNOW kip is also telling himself this that doesn't mean I'm not still annoyed that he's not over it.

this was written in 2018 (which was almost 10 year ago eww) so this may be simple an evolution of writing about queer stories but i actually can't stand a gay book where the main conflict between the couple is that one of them is closeted, becuz truly no one is forcing kip to be in a relationship where he's not happy and i know his narration is also telling him that but it's actually pissing me off atp
