Vanitha Narayan That’s so true! I don’t know if you’ve read The Eternal Husband, but it genuinely blew my mind, mediocrity is simply not something you ever encounter in his work.

Yes, I have read everything by him. Netochka Nezvanova is great too, it has a great premise, so much potential. It's great to see what Dostoevsky was before he became the Dostoevsky we know from his more celebrated work. He was substance through and through.
