Ugh, why did I like this so much the first time?

Lol, why did I like this so much when I was younger?! The dialogue is so awkward and these characters have no chemistry. The writing isn't great and things the author is writing to be "funny" aren't funny at all.

Also rereading this book because I really enjoyed it. I think this was my gateway to contemporary romance book.
