I thought this was going to be a heist book, but I’m almost a third of the way in and nothing. It’s a lot of satirical, observational stuff so far.

I felt a similar way about The Survivalists. It’s got interesting characters, but the pacing/plot feels kind of off. Maybe the books are being marketed wrong to make me expect plot?
