By calling out entire systems of oppression, the prophets of the Bible are working toward restorative justice, not singling out individual sinners. We see this play out with Isaiah and Amos, as well as others who the author calls “incomplete” in their development, but you have to look at the whole picture to actually understand the gravity of the prophets’ messages.
