It’s so hard to listen to some of Hillary’s planned policies and her hopes for the future knowing that things are so much worse in the Orange man’s second term!!

I wish we’re could teleport back to 2016 with a different outcome. She wasn’t perfect, but she was experienced, educated, competent, and determined to make America a better place. I wish her policies were highlighted more than her email scandal.

Sweet, heartwarming stories and the Bush family, sometimes funny, without being political. I enjoyed hearing about living in the Governor’s Mansion and the White House.

Our brokenness binds us together. We need to bring basement meetings (think the vibe of AA groups) back to the church.

This book is full of candid vulnerability from Pastor Scott Sauls, and felt like a love letter to the weary.

Cute story with some wild characters! I’m so excited that this is going to be a movie someday soon (staring Reba!).

This may be the most boring book I’ve ever listened to. It’s dull, completely uninteresting, and I’m really struggling to listen to it. I’m only reading it because it’s a banned book, but honestly, it’s not interesting enough that anyone should care about it. 😅

This book is making me angry. I listened to it a few years ago and it was fine….but this time around the judgy-ness and condescension of the author is pissing me off. I want to throw it across the room periodically, but will finish it (reading a couple of chapters a month to discuss as a group until May..).

There are nuggets of great advice in here…but, at least half of what I’ve read so far has been unnecessary. I’ll keep going, but I’m tempted to quit. 😅😅

I’m ready to give up… I think the author means to be helpful and relatable, but it reads as “I’m better than you, be like me,” and she uses Bible verses out of context *regularly* to make her points. It’s annoying.

She’s condescending and judgmental when she talks about specific views she holds, calling them “clear Biblical instruction,” but she’s twisting verses to fit her own convictions.
