This is the kind of book that makes me excited to wake up in the morning to read it. It's well-written, offers incredible insights on Dahmer not seen anywhere else, and its perception and explanations of human psychology and nature, especially as they apply to this case, are the most fascinating part.

Still really good, but don't know if I'll be able to finish it for a while yet, as university responsibilities are calling, and tragically, they don't involve serial killer books.

I think that the fact it focuses on Dahmer rather than his crimes exclusively, the fact that this seems to a biography of the killer, makes this a highly unusual book.
