augustus’ rise to being a sole leader from the triumviate, he somehow only commandeered 2 foreign battles before getting heavily injured. did not feel the need to expand the empire / military power

start of Octavius’ story

julius got assassinated. some said it’s just he died because he just dgaf anymore, some said he’s old and bit sick. the people apparently didn’t hate him, at least not as much as they would approve of him being murdered. the co conspirators way of killing were harsh. he also ignored all the bad omens and haruspex’s warning. all the bad guys died no longer than 3 years(?) after his murder. most tragic deaths.
