Their early ventures out I picture in my mind like a Miyazaki scene with a Hiseni soundtrack playing. Hanami teacher get together in the local park, gathering and cooking mushrooms in the forest with the Iyazaka owner and his random cousin, going to the eight market... feels like a soothing, relaxing dream with a strong sense of place.

One evening she gets super drunk in the Iyazaka with Sensei, because she has no boundries, she'd very lonely and has no sense of purpose of joy abouy her at all. She winds up cuddling Sensei in his apartment and confessing her love. Poor thing.

So far it's about a 37yo bumping into her old high school teacher unexpectedely a series of times. No romantic relationship as of yet, just strong kinship between two lonely introverts, she'd bored borderline depressed when u realize she works a lot and in her free time is spent in a haze of sleeping, magazine reading and doing nothing, and he draws her out to strange markets, parks and eateries.It's soothing.
