Oh, goodness, I don't feel that way at all! :-)
I'm definitely enjoying it so far! I really like her writing style and word choice and such; it feels quite familiar to me🙃 And it's the kind of story so far that's difficult to stop reading! As you can see, it keeps making me think of other stories (not only Les Mis, but a couple of others also), but not in a bad way!

And great! I believe it’s based off of The Blue Castle, which I haven’t read yet. And I think I told you this already, but I was reminded of Rebecca, maybe because of the secretive mmc 🙃

Ahh! Yep, yep, yep, very reminiscent of The Blue Castle, though I hadn't thought of that yet! Definitely getting some Jane Eyre vibes (so, yes, Rebecca, too :-p); it's made me think of Jamaica Inn (also by du Maurier) and Wishtress, a bit.

Nice! It seems like it has similar vibes to lots of books haha
And I just love Jane Eyre 😌

😭😭It's absolutely my favorite novel, and (as I'm sure won't be a surprise by now🤣) I can go on and on in great speeches about why🤣😭💜
