Pre-Thoughts: I'm kind of surprised that I never got a hold of this story when I was younger.
R.L. Stine was the entire reason I started reading, so to find out that I missed this book is surprising, no matter how short it is.
I think I'll chop it up to the fact that from the ages of eight to thirteen I was terrified of zombies.
R. L. Stine might have something to with that too lol.

I love how it starts with rain. I know most stories start with rain, but with this being a zombie book it reminds of of the first three "Return of the Living Dead" movies.
Every time the trioxin gaseous-liquid was released it always began to rain, and every time it rained that was when things began to go wrong.

I haven't even started the full story yet, and R. L. Stine has already written down the exact fears I had when it came to Zombies when I was younger.
I wonder if that's because the episode "Welcome to Dead House" was what caused my fear to begin with.
I think I can also blame him for the fear of ventriloquist dummies.
