This is a sweet story set before the turn just before the turn on the 20th century. It follows a nurse and a Lieutenant during the Spanish-American war.
I had never read anything from this time. I thought it was a really sweet love story. I learned so many interesting things. This was very very well. If anyone is interested in history, this is one book I definitely recommend.
