there's something different to cg's style here and unfortunately I think it's that because this is straight adult mystery and not quirky queer horror they have edited themself to be more palatable which I think is a bit of a shame. it's not bad by any means and they still have many pages left to prove me wrong but their style is usually my favorite part and it has changed here

insane way to start a chapter

first mention of the title of the book just dropped and something tells me it's a lie
