this sucks so far and i am almost certainly going to drop it. the characterisation is abysmal. there is no mystery. it's a painfully male book, written from an undeveloped, outdated male perspective (the book is outdated as well which explains it), with cartoonish male characters. started reading it after watching the lovely dept q, and hats off to the producers for their fresh perspective on a not great text.
