how is it that mc (who wants to KILL GOD) is less interesting than kira and zara. by god i wish they were the mcs

couple problems:
aris is completely forgettable. i honestly forgot her name until she was thinking something to herself. which is disappointing considering she LITERALLY wants to kill god. like hello??? can we expand on that?
what’s the point of the culling if most people are just gonna die on starside anyway. for a death game to work give me a good reason why it exists
