at times this feels like a torture device specifically designed for my brain and i don't even mean that the book is bad or that the writing style is the issue, this is purely a me problem

i really could do without the mentions of harry potter but the book was published when liking harry potter was socially acceptable so ig i can't really be mad about that

not much progress today because i was busy and also because this book is so far out of my comfort zone and it takes me ages to get into it but i promised to interact with the interests of my friends so i'll finish this and if it's the last thing i'm doing
