This guy is making me rage-y. He KNOWS who she is--went into their first IRL encounter knowing--and is actively hiding who HE is from HER. He's discussing himself with her, not admitting it's him. There is nothing about his behavior that is remotely ok. I cannot conceive of any way he could make this asshat behavior up to her...pretty sure a DNF is in my future here.
