Bram Stoker’s Dracula who? Honestly, it was a fun romp. Was it the most amazing thing ever? No. But I had fun. And it was nice to see vampires acting like vampires. Capable of good, yes, but also batshit crazy. Dracula. Well, he wasn’t in it much but the primordial misogyny of him was interesting to read. I wish I had the Fox and the Devil, but I’ll get that when I’m not poor. Now, what to read next?

Im cackling because narcissism is literally a superpower against Dracula. If you believe hard enough, he can’t touch you. Love it. I havent said much but I have been eating GOOD with this book. I’ll be happy to give this 5 stars.

Oh my god this is a rollercoaster. I love how inhuman Dracula is, that his humanity, if there ever was any, is gone. Im curious if he was ever human to begin with or if he was simply an aberration of nature given life. Suppose wont find out here

Okay so the Goldaming Life is some sort of vampiric pyramid scheme… but why?

That is quite an elaborate plot and honestly, they were cunning snakes in doing it. I wonder how Lucy is gonna react.

The cast of Dracula being the villains is a nice twist. Im sure purists are rolling in the soil of their homeland but haha, get fucked. Dracula is still an evil bastard, thank god.

Ah so Dracula is Akasha. Only kidding. But if what the Doctor says is true, killing him will kill all vampires he has ever created. I dont know the veracity of that but I guess we’ll see

White’s description of Dracula is mesmerizing. An insatiable hunger. Never able to be fulfilled. He hasnt been in this much, but his presence permeates the book. It’s rather like Bram Stoker’s Dracula, but done in a way that doesn’t bore the tits off me.
