I like this book less than the first one in the series. This book has kind of a rushed, desperate feel that makes me anxious as I read it. I know it’s about (slight spoiler warning) the end of the world, but I don’t really want to read a book that makes ME feel like it’s the end of the world.

This book takes off running. I am so used to how second books in a series tend to drag at the start, so this is refreshing!
