yeah i didn't like them when i read them but also i was extremely depressed... so idk either - i think i'll give them a second chance some day!

apparently the series with the ships is really good so i'm going to try that one
I think the ships trilogy might make or break my commitment to the world of Robin Hobb because 14 books is a lot to tackle 😭 but there is apparently really good emotional payoff, it’s just that some of those books are slow paced AND chunky
wait there are 14 of them wtf
oh 14 is the mega series of everything which includes the ships too
