No but the father is bonkers. He spent a whole week trying to convince his wife to approve Marjane and Reza’s marriage.. knowing they’ll get divorced just so she could learn the lesson. 😭 what was the point though? Why?! Ah. Otherwise she would have been left wondering. She had to exhaust herself to understand.

Oh gosh, so she learnt from her love story in Vienna where she served that man and paid everything for him, did everything he wanted.. by doing the same for reza and becoming what he wanted her to be and then they get married and the marriage breaks down. I don’t even know what to say. Change for the better, not because it’s what he wants.

Erm I think if you know your daughter & her man are going to get divorced eventually surely you let them know before they get married? He said he wanted her to understand it herself. But then at the same time said to go be happy (includes him). But if he knows they’re leading to divorce then they won’t be happy? The road to divorce isn’t filled with happiness. I’m struggling to understand the logic.

Her grandmother called her a selfish followed by a curse word, but you know what, this time around, yeah, so bad. I hope the guy is okay. She needs to go and make it okay.

Ah, poor baby definitely has it hard being without her parents or any family trying to fit in. But at least she’s now acknowledging her roots and learning to be comfortable with herself.

Ah, Marjane, come on don’t lie about the guy just because he threatens your ability to fit in with others. Her grandmother was right, ignore jerks/anyone mean to you cos you will always come across people like that, stay true to yourself, don’t make yourself bitter over revenge. If only everyone would just have that mentality.
