The Lifecycle of Software Objects
A long story and the most thought-provoking one so far. The theme of inventions being just advanced enough to spark serious questions continues, but this time we see the tech evolve over several years. Also, Chiang's take on AI (which I was curious about) seems to be pragmatic and humane -- experience is incompressible, and it would do us good to treat AI with care and respect.

Enjoying the delivery of cosmic copium so far. In all three stories, the worlds have just the right amount of hyper-advancement to allow their inhabitants to grapple with implications. Time travel is possible, but only for a few seconds or years. A breakthrough has been achieved, but its full range of applications is not yet apparent. Curious about Chiang's take on AI now!
