Not too long ago I finished a passage that had me feeling like I just dropped acid, then I noticed a little silver mark on the bottom of the page that looked like a pencil had scuffed it, but I was curious that I had never had a pencil anywhere near this tome. I turned the page and the pencil mark was mirrored.
I fear this book might be turning me schizophrenic.

My bf’s parents have a neighbour that lives in a hovel filled with dust and rotting animal carcasses (probably) and I’m imagining his house in lieu of the setting actually being established, just based on the introduction and I am already Very Upset.
