I’d like to further note, that unlike Gunslinger, it follows a much more sensible storyline. It should be noted that, Stephen King is a master at verbosity to create a mood. Some people like it greatly, I don’t care for his proclivity to complicate simple sentences. It’s one to create a feeling, it’s another to create a strangely worded sentence full of hyperboles and the overuse of similes to describe something. Everything during Roland’s meeting of Eddie, was just unnecessarily long and unusual .
