The book is still engaging although the narrative on getting to manus island via sea 🌊 captured much deeper emotive feelings of distress and mortality than the banal and desperate life in prison so far.

Wow! What a great read so far. Appreciated the translators’s notes initially. The rich descriptions of the sea voyages are breath taking and so vivid in courage, fear and mortality.
