Scheherazade is the first manga story. She’s his support liaison, but she’s basically sleeping with him or maybe it’s his imagination. She’s telling him these stories and these stories are just wild. She pretends she was a fish 😭 then she tells a story of how she stole her high school crush’s pencil and left a tampon (?!?!?!?!?!) behind in his drawer to leave her mark. No one does surreal like Murakami.
