idk how to feel abt this. i think taking such a huge gap made the stakes feel sm less than they are?? like i don't really understand what we're doing. collecting 2 halves of a book? to counter the cauldron. but what is the cauldron and why is it so bad?!?
where i am they're meeting these mortal queens bc they have the other half of the book. but like why do i care. idk maybe we'll see !

im scared. who am i and why am i lowk obsessed with this book when i spent genuine HOURS talking bad about book 1... like i'm not even kidding i have 5 star feeling rn! HUH? HELLO?

this book is already SO much better than the first... i lowkey like it even more than 'jade city' which is INsane
