I’ll be honest, we started audio booking this in the car to and from a weekend trip and I had to read a few chapter summaries on Wikipedia after taking a car nap. But also something tells me I would’ve had to read the summaries anyways because this book is such a Cosmere lore dump and I don’t think I’ve read enough of Sanderson’s other books yet to have sufficient context lol

I think if you get a hard copy, it's a great book. There are 3-5 EGREGIOUS lore dumps in this book, and once old Bando-Sando starts doing his thing you immediately know "oh, this is like a song in LoTR or a description of food in Redwall." And just skip to the next page.
