Urgh, I guess I have to push to finish this today. The Totally-Not-Mandatory-But-It-Is Book Club is tomorrow, and certain higher-ups have demanded that I provide them with a summary and talking points because they didn't read the book.

Star Trek did NOT come out in the 1950s. For a book being treated like a textbook, there is an awful lack of editing and fact-checking in here.
