I can handle historical inaccuracies in historical fiction but the fact that she’s mentioned the city “Caesarea” multiple times is killing me. It’s a Roman city named after a ROMAN built 800 years after this story takes place. Romans didn’t even exist yet. It would be so easy to just replace Caesarea with another coastal city that actually existed during this time

I really like how she shows the difference between the worship of Yahweh and syro-canaanite gods
