thank you so much for all these wonderful images...the rabbit butt is simply adorable, but your garden takes the prize...wow...
Thanks and you're welcome. The rabbit butt was a bit more difficult to make than I thought but it was just so cute. :D
But yeah, if I had to choose betwene baking my butt off for Easter or spending the same amount of time outside in the sun, I know I'd choose the latter.

however you did it, it's the goat!

And what a wonderful smell! It's heavenly what with all the different flowers finally blooming. The various bees and butterflies (two types thus far: brimstone butterfly and peacock butterfly) seem to agree with me.
My photinia is also in the first growing phase so the top leaves have turned a gorgeous blood read.
Then there are the birds with their various songs. So far, I've seen great tits, sparrows, chiffchaffs, a wood pigeon, black redstarts, blackbirds, a magpie - and I heard a red kite. I know from my last observation (see the post I linked to above) that there is also a robin and some long-tailed tits.
I haven't checked on the frogs and the newt in the pond again yet, I'll do that when it is considerably warmer. However, the security camera showed one of the frogs swimming at night. It also showed (some time later) an adorable marten passing through.
Edit, about 1.5h later: We now also have at least a male orange-tip butterfly. (Sadly, I haven't been able to take a picture of him yet.)
