The blend of mafia (lite) and omegaverse is a little strange. I get that everyone is getting in on the omegaverse action, but the balance is not quite right. I still love Jillian West’s writing though, but this lasts the oomph of other books I’ve read of hers.

Was all that info dump at the beginning of the book really necessary?
