Nail has been with Bishop Godwyn a week now. A week since Bishop saw what Nail had been carrying & so far, Bishop has chosen to not say a word to the lad about anything.
Is there a point where all the secrecy becomes stupid?

All of sudden, instead of picking up pace at around 79% mark, the book seems to have lost steam, has slowed down a little. Counter-intuitive but alright, let's keep rolling.

Okay, I get that Nail is burdened with his emotions right now but the way Liz Hen (such a shit name) just treat him, on top of being a bitch since the start of the journey, Nail ought to respond to that, doesn't make sense why he's taking it lying down.

Five Warrior Angels of old, including Laijon, right?
Then Raijael and his 4 Knights Archaic, crusading.
And then Nail and 4 other Warrior Angels waiting to be discovered.
I mean i'm a sucker for such symmetric shit and I don't even know why

I'm not saying that I'm happy about what just transpired between Ava & Aeros, but boy is the author really going after her and boy am I getting my wish, albeit in a VERY twisted way.
Classic case of "careful what you wish for"

Nail is been criminally under-utilized so far. Like...barely anything happening to further him as a protagonist that you can root for. Hope this changes quickly!

I DO NOT like portrayal of female characters in such a way where you reduce them to just bimbos who can do naught but check out male characters & be confused about who to chose.
First Jondralyn, now Ava.
In the span of one chapter she is appreciating Nail, then Jenko. And then she is checking out Gault in a life threatening situation and post that she is admiring Aeros in a mentally fugue state! Like seriously?

Okay, I think the punishment for Ava came in one fell swoop and a little too completely, atleast that's what it felt like. A bit more suffering was required but it seemed like the author wanted to close the book on Ava.
