I am having a hard time getting through this one, tbh. I love Preston and I have liked his books a lot in the past. But this one just isn't working for me. It's slow-paced, the characters are not interesting and some chapters feel like they're thrown in to give you an idea of who the characters are, even though that slows down the book more. I will finish. One day... I hope.
