I have to remember this for when I am reviewing, the story is so often trying to create emotionally impactful moments but they feel so unearned. Also way too many cringe plot twists for the sake of plot twists

like imagine if this had been done as a mockumentary or something, I think that would have been fun. I'll still let the world war z movie exist but call it something else. tbh don't call your book world war z in the first place the name is complete ass

some of these chapters are so dog. also whoever adapted this was a right numpty. the film is cool in some ways but why you'd frame it as an adaptation I have no idea (other than for marketing purposes but fuck that)
