Somehow, even though this feels like reading a sociological study of some foreign age or country--totally different from my life experience, I am still reading it! So I suppose it must be pretty well written. As a former historian I find it somewhat fascinating to see this divergent perspective portrayed as the picture of a generation, though there are glossed over glimpses of other (more common) paths.

Rarely has a book made me more angry quicker--I should read more non-fiction. Though this book is like no reality I know.
