I really like Fay's character, a complete foil to the scientific world; more free spritited and free, and a positive force for Charlie currently. Though, Algernon's behavior is bad and also Matt not recognizing him or Charlie not properly introducing himself was really sad.

Heartbreaking already, seeing Charlie being made fun of without actually knowing, seeing him want to be smart so that he can relate to people and be friends, it's all heartbreaking.
