I can't decide if this seems stilted because I'm noticing every instance where lyrics get worked in, or if it's just kind of stilted.

Have you read the non-graphic version of this novel, Gibsy? It is one that has always intrigued me but I've never heard much about it from friends.

I haven't, no...maybe this is just a less-than-stellar adaptation (though it's written by Anderson with input from Peary). It is, however, putting me in the mood to listen to the album...
I went through a Rush phase back in the day and I've read a few of Anderson's stories and enjoy his writing, but I always wondered if the whole book would be a little too over my head.
