Golly, it’s just one thing after another! Also had no idea this was set in the early 1860s so I was confused when a war was mentioned. I thought it was set when it was written, twenty years later. 😅

I remember reading a book as a kid where the family moved to The Wild Frontier...what is now Indiana. 😂
