Started out really into this book then it just lost traction. Too pricey. And ultimately, Irene, the main character, frustrated me. How she just let people go (Tom, her mother) after experiencing so much loss in life. Life is too short. Grab on to live when it presents. There is NO WAY she pull have been so pissed she never would have opened the letter s from Tom. Skimmed the last pages of this book to get to the end
