This is Agatha Christie pushing…almost goading her character into the necessary action/reaction.

A bath? A teaser? The little gray cells invigorated? Possibly.

“He may have believed in her blindly.”
— Rosamund’s considered thought of Arlena’s husband at the end of Chapter 7

I love these police interrogations that appear in many of Christie’s books. They reveal so much of the characters and their influential aspects within the mysteries.

Murder is inevitable. My continued reading of Christie books in their publication date order is inevitable as well😇. Back on track and loving this one because it brings to mind the incredible cast from the 1982 movie.
